Welcome to the Centre for Procurement Performance (CPP) website. We are a unit within the Department for Children, Schools and Families that works across the whole of the education, skills and children and families system, promoting more effective procurement.
'Our mission is to raise procurement performance and work with organisations to release significant efficiency gains back into frontline services by March 2008.'
We do this by working with organisations to increase opportunities for achieving savings on the purchases of services or goods, and encourage collaboration. Substantial savings made on better procurement choices will free up resources to improve frontline services, and savings made can be reinvested by individual organisations.
