In recent years, there have been significant changes in the requirements for the intercountry adoption process. From 30 December 2005 , these requirements will include those outlined in the Adoption and Children Act 2002, the Adoption Agencies Regulations 2005 and the Adoptions with a Foreign Element Regulations 2005.
