The House of Lords European Union Committee's Report into the proposed EU Integrated Action Programme for Life-Long Learning: Government Response

The House of Lords set up an Inquiry to investigate proposals from the European Commission to establish a new EU Integrated Action Programme for Life-long Learning. The new programme is proposed to run from 2007-2013 replacing a number of current EU programmes which will finish at the end of 2006.

The key areas of the programme are: providing opportunities for those involved in education and training to study and work in other EU countries; promoting links between educational institutions and organisations including universities and schools in different EU countries; and spreading good practice between education and training systems.
