| Description | This is an addition to a previous publication; reference SLC SFR 01/2004. Table 2C of SLC SFR 01/2004 gave provisional Maintenance expenditure for 2004/05. Included in that figure was expenditure on the Higher Education (HE) Grant. This Statistical First Release will give a further breakdown of the maintenance expenditure already published showing separately the data for the HE Grant only, more specifically application numbers for, and expenditure on the HE Grant. As in SLC SFR 01/2004, data will be for academic year 2004/05; however data will be from a position 7 months further into the academic year than previous.
