Awards of Key Skills Qualifications: 2005/06

DescriptionThis Statistical First Release updates the figures presented in 'Awards of Key Skills Qualifications: 2004/05' - SFR15/2006, published on 11 April 2006. The SFR presents key statistics on the awards of Communication, Application of Number and Information Technology Key Skills qualifications in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and, following introduction in last year's publication, the three wider key skills (Improving Own Learning and Performance, Problem Solving and Working With Others). The SFR covers awards from the introduction of Key Skills qualification in September 2000 to September 2005. Key analyses presented in the SFR are by type and level of qualifications, age and gender and awarding centre type.
