DCSF: GCE/VCE A/AS and Equivalent Examination Results in England, 2006/07 (Provisional)

Description	This Statistical First Release (SFR) provides the earliest information on the achievements in GCE/VCE A/AS examinations in 2007. The publication contains provisional national level analyses by institution type, gender and subject and provisional LA level analyses by gender. The information is based on that collated for the 2007 Achievement and Attainment tables and covers all Level 3 qualifications approved under the Learning and Skills Act (2000). In order to do so, the QCA tariff for Level 3 qualifications is used in point score calculations. This information is currently being checked by schools and colleges as part of the Achievement and Attainment tables exercise.
