Qualifications and Participation in Learning at a local level: England 2006
| Description | These data tables are based on the Annual Population Survey (APS) for 2006 and 2005 calendar years and the Local Labour Force Survey for earlier years (based on March to the following February). The first table shows the highest qualification levels of the population aged 19-59/64 (males aged 19-64 and females aged 19-59). This is the population being used for the new indicators of attainment at local level. An extra two years (2001/02 and 2002/03) have bow been added to this back series. Figures are included in the second table on the highest qualifications held by economically active adults aged 18-59/64 (the group targeted by one of DIUS's adult skills PSA targets). Figures in the rest of the tables relate to levels of highest qualification held, the relationship between qualification level and rate of employment of those aged 16-59/64, participation in job related training by employees and the proportion of adults who participate in any form of learning. Figures are for England and are disaggregated into Government Office Regions (GOR), Local Learning and Skills Council (LSC) office areas, Learning Partnership (LP), Local Education Authority (LEA) and Local Authority District (LAD) geographies. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
