DCSF: Level 2 and 3 Attainment by Special Educational Needs

DescriptionThis topic note presents breakdowns of level 2 and level 3 attainment by Special Educational Needs to age 19 within England using matched administrative data. The achievements reported here include those up to the end of 2005/06 and cover the following three cohorts: learners aged 19 in 2006, 19 in 2007 and 19 in 2008. The analysis in the main body of the report concentrates on the '19 in 2006 cohort' and level L2 attainment, but references are made to the other cohorts and level 3 attainment.
