Funding per Pupil
| Description | The per pupil funding now includes three separate real term time series: 1) revenue only, 2) revenue and capital, and 3) capital only. The revenue data cover education formula funding plus all school related revenue grants in the DCSF Departmental Expenditure Limit across all publicly funded school pupils aged 3-19. The capital figures draw on capital budgets from Annex C of the Departmental Report across all maintained school pupils aged 3-19. Between 1997-1998 and 2008-09 total revenue and capital funding per pupil has increased by £2,860 (96 percent) in real terms. | |
