Pupil funding - For 2005/06, this government has allocated an extra £1610 per pupil in real terms to Camden Local Authority since 1997/98, an increase of 37 per cent.
The number of 5,6 & 7 year olds in classes over 30 has FALLEN from 222 in 1997 to 31 by January 2005.

Primary school results - Revised figures for 2005 show that 78 per cent of eleven year olds reached the required standard in English up from 60 per cent in 1997. In Maths this number is up to 74 per cent from 65 per cent in 1997.
Provisional figures for 2005 show that 79 per cent of eleven year olds reached the required standard in English and 73 per cent in mathematics in Camden LA.
GCSE - The percentage of secondary school pupils in Camden LA achieving 5 or more good GCSEs is up from 46 per cent in 1998 to 51 per cent in 2005 (provisional).
In 2005 there were 3900 free part-time early education places taken up by 3 and 4 year olds in maintained, private, voluntary and independent providers
