2008 STAR Awards short-list announced!
A chef, a learning champion, a principal and a maths tutor are among 100 unsung heroes of further education whose work has been recognised by the 2008 QIA STAR Awards.
The first round of judging for the awards has been completed and the full short-list is now available to view. QIA has been overwhelmed by the record number of high quality nominations received for this year’s awards.
Short-listed nominees come from a wide spectrum of further education providers, including FE colleges, sixth form colleges, adult and community learning centres, voluntary and community organisations, and work-based learning and offender learning providers. Nominations were received for the most senior to the most junior members of staff.
Well done to all successful nominees and nominators for getting this far, and thank you to everyone who made a nomination.
